Visa Application

Nationals of the Republic of Guinea holding ordinary passports need to obtain a China visa if they plan to go to China Mainland. To Hong Kong, China, however, they are exempted from visa application if staying for no more than 14 days.

To get a China visa, they should fill in the visa application form online first, print it out and sign it. Then, prepare all the needed documents and materials of different visa types. Finally, submit their application to the consular office of the Embassy in person.

Brief Intro

The Republic of Guinea is situated in the west coast of western African. Central plateau area is the headstream of three major rivers of West Africa, Niger, Senegal and Gambia. It has tropical monsoon climate in the coastal area and savanna climate in the hinterland. May to October is the rainy season.

 Notices for Chinese Going to Guinea
1. Passport, disembarkation card, visa and International Certification Vaccination are necessary before entering the country. If the certification is lost, one should pay the fine and ask for a certificate from the officer.
2. Normally, the validity should be three months for single entry. For stay permit, one should have a legal residence visa after arriving within the validity. Then get the residence card with a validity of one year, which can be updated in immigration bureau on the expiry date.
3. Keep good care of oneself and valuables especially at night. Respect the local faith and pay attention to their customs and taboos.
